Jason De Rienzo started with music at an early age; his parents bought him his first guitar and enrolled him in music classes at the age of 6. Once in High School Jason played in several bands and started to learn recording by recording his band and friends bands in the basement of his parent’s house on a 8-track reel to reel tape machine. After High School Jason enrolled in college and studied Jazz Guitar and Audio Recording Technology, Jason was considered to be one of the best musicians at his college and Jason graduated a year early and with Honors.
Jason's first professional experience in music came soon after college when he landed a job at KMA Music (a major recording studio located in Time Square). While at KMA, Jason worked with such artist as Swizz Beatz, Flo-Rida, Carmen, and J.Cole. A year after graduating College Jason opened his own studio in Time Square just blocks from KMA called Studio212. At Studio212 Jason worked with such Artist as Foxy Brown, Fabolous, Maino, J.Cole and a host of others. After leaving Studio212 Jason continued to work with artist such as Troy Ave, Martha Wash, Cindy Mizel, Uncle Murda and J.Cole in several studios across the city. Jason currently works as Chief Engineer at Sugar House Studios in Jersey City.
Jason’s commitment to excellence and leadership qualities has propelled Jason’s Career to soaring heights. In as little as 3 years Jason has climbed from intern to Chief engineer running his own studio. Jason now has a Jazz Quartet and plays lead guitar and serves as front man to this group. “The Experience” was recorded with long-time friends of Jason whom have been playing music with Jason for years.
